How Long helps you remember the things you don't do every day.
Add something to remember
Tap the plus button on the home screen, enter a name and choose an icon. Add the last completion time if you remember it, or leave it unknown.
Tap “Just did it”
Add a record for the current time while keeping earlier history. Use the brief Undo prompt after an accidental tap, or delete that specific record in the item details.
Common questions
How do I add or correct past records?
Open an item and choose Add past record, or Edit record under the relevant entry. Intervals are recalculated from the full history. At least two records are needed to calculate an average.
Why did a reminder not appear?
Check that the item has a record, reminders are enabled, and system notification permission is allowed. One reminder is scheduled for 9:00 AM local time on the due date. Focus, notification summaries and permissions may affect delivery. Refresh reminders in Settings to check their status. An overdue status is not proof of notification delivery.
Does one day always mean 24 hours?
Reminders use calendar days and are scheduled for 9:00 AM on the due date. Daylight saving time and travel across time zones can change the actual hours elapsed.
What is the difference between archiving and deleting?
Archiving hides an item from the home screen and pauses reminders while retaining its history. Restore it from Archived items in Settings. Permanent deletion removes the item and all its records after confirmation.
Can I sync between devices?
The current version stores data locally. It does not provide iCloud sync, accounts or cross-device recovery. System device backups are separate from in-app sync.
Can I export my data?
Import and export are not available in the current version. Deleting the app may remove your local records; check your device backup situation first.
How do I change the appearance?
In Settings, choose Follow system, Light or Dark. The appearance changes after the selection is saved.
