How LongRecords on your device
Item names, icons, categories, notes, completion history, reminder settings and appearance preferences are stored locally. We do not operate a server that receives these records. The current version has no accounts or iCloud sync.
Device and operating-system backup services are controlled by your system settings and may include app data. Backups are separate from in-app synchronization.
Local notifications
Local reminders are scheduled only after you enable them and grant permission. Notifications may show an item name and interval; control Lock Screen previews in system settings as needed. Reminder processing state is also stored locally to avoid scheduling old cycles repeatedly. Turning reminders off does not delete history.
Collection and tracking
The app contains no advertising, third-party analytics or tracking SDKs. It does not request contacts, location, camera or health access, and does not use or sell records for advertising.
Emails you choose to send
If you contact support, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to include, to respond and resolve the issue. Your chosen email service and our receiving service process this communication. Using the app does not send email automatically. Please omit unrelated sensitive information.
Support messages are retained only as needed to resolve the issue, provide necessary follow-up or meet applicable obligations. You can request access to or deletion of support correspondence using the email below, except where retention is legally required.
Retention, deletion and control
You control local records. Edit or delete individual entries, or confirm permanent deletion of an item and its full history. Archiving only hides an item. Deleting the app normally removes its local app data; copies in system backups are managed by the corresponding backup settings. We cannot remotely restore or delete records on your device.
You can disable reminders for an item or revoke system notification permission and continue recording.
Visiting this website
These pages use no analytics scripts, advertising, forms or browser storage. The public website uses GitHub Pages. GitHub may log visitor IP addresses and other technical information for security; see the GitHub Privacy Statement. Hosting is separate from local app records. Visiting this website does not upload your items.
